We're hiring and growing in locations throughout the U.S. with our headquarters located in Norman, OK; We also have international offices in Peru and Mexico. You shall be required to work in our PCI Norman office on a hybrid basis (some days at home and some days in the Norman office).
The company is looking for a Junior Systems Administrator. The Junior System Administrator is responsible for, implementing, and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability. This role involves working closely with other IT professionals to support business operations, troubleshoot system issues, and develop innovative solutions to enhance the organization's technological capabilities.

The Junior System Administrator must report to PCI headquarters in Norman, OK.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement robust IT infrastructure solutions, including servers, networks, and storage systems.
  • Develop and deploy system configurations and software updates to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Collaborate with other IT professionals and stakeholders to gather requirements and design system architecture that meets business needs.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and ensure continuity of operations.
  • Perform regular system maintenance tasks, such as backups, patch management, and system upgrades.
  • Respond to and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner, providing expert-level support to end-users.
  • Implement and maintain security protocols to protect the organization's data and IT infrastructure from threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with security and regulatory frameworks, such as SOC 1/SOC 2 and FISMA requirements.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Generate regular reports on system performance, security incidents, and project progress.
  • Provide training and support to IT staff and end-users on system functionalities and best practices.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar role, with a strong background in managing IT infrastructure.
