Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking a proactive, analytical, and technically skilled Sr Business Intelligence Analyst to join the USANA IT team. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining enterprise reporting, dashboards, and analytics solutions using Tableau and Power BI. The successful candidate will have strong experience in data visualization, business analysis, automating BI tasks using Python scripting, and enabling advanced analytics by delivering high-quality, curated datasets for Copilot and other AI tools.
You will interface directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements, deliver actionable insights, and contribute to the evolution of USANA's self-service BI and AI enablement strategy. This role also plays a key part in data governance, data integration, and performance optimization across BI platforms.
What You Will Do as a USANA Sr Business Intelligence Analyst
  • Design and maintain efficient semantic layers and data models to support self-service capabilities and AI integration
  • Validate existing/new models for accuracy against source of truth database (QA ownership)
  • Train and support business users on how to leverage dashboards, reports, and Copilot-compatible datasets for informed decision-making
  • Mentor junior analysts and participate in peer reviews of dashboards, data pipelines, and scripts
  • Partner with Data Engineers, scrum teams, and Architects to optimize data flow, system performance, and pipeline reliability
  • Contribute to agile practices including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and demos
  • Maintain and manage source control and documentation of BI and AI assets

Background and Skills You Will Need
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience with business intelligence, data visualization, and dashboard/report development
  • 3+ years of experience designing and developing in Tableau and/or Power BI
  • 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Fabric and Snowflake
  • Strong Python scripting experience, especially for automation, data transformation, and API integration
  • Proven experience building curated, structured datasets specifically for use by Copilot or other AI/ML platforms
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and ETL/ELT processes
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience working with large datasets from diverse sources
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work cross-functionally
