Job Summary:

We are looking for someone excited to grow and learn in this Junior Purchasing Agent. We are happy to teach you everything you need to know to succeed! You’ll gain a well-rounded understanding of automobiles, armoring, and the parts associated with this unique industry. This role is perfect for someone who’s good with computers, enjoys shopping around for the best prices, and pays attention to details.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Research, compare, and purchase parts for vehicles while ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Communicate with vendors to negotiate terms and ensure timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate part requirements and seamless workflow coordination.
  • Keep detailed records of orders, prices, and inventory.
  • Organize physical inventory of parts
  • Use computers and online tools to track purchases and manage vendor relationships.
  • Occasionally drive a company vehicle to pick up parts or visit vendors.
  • Work closely with team members to maintain supply chain efficiency.


Qualifications:


Required:

  • Strong organizational, communication, and note-taking skills.
  • Comfortable using technology, computer-savvy, and able to learn new software tools.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets) or Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
