Job description

Position: Junior Exhibit Designer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Entry-Level Designer to join our team at a fast-paced trade show exhibit company. As an Exhibit Designer, you will support the development of custom trade show booths and displays from concept to production. You’ll work closely with senior designers, project managers, and fabrication teams to bring client visions to life in 3D environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the conceptualization and design of trade show exhibits, retail displays, and experiential environments.
  • Create 2D and 3D renderings, floorplans, elevations, and technical drawings using design software (SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
  • Work collaboratively with the design and sales team to translate client needs into effective booth concepts.
  • Prepare presentation materials, mood boards, and visual mockups for internal reviews and client pitches.
  • Revise designs based on feedback from clients and internal teams.
  • Ensure that designs adhere to budget, brand guidelines, and show regulations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and design files.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Interior Design, Exhibit Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in design software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); knowledge of 3D Studio Max or similar is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of spatial design, materials, and fabrication techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Portfolio demonstrating creative and technical design skills (school or freelance work acceptable).
