Job description

Description Teach What You Love. Be a part-time Instructor for the Northern Recreation & Leisure Services Division of Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission's Prince George's County Department of Parks and Recreation. Classes will be located in community centers, public schools, and other Prince George's County locations.

Some of the instructional areas available include, but are not limited to: Crafting (Sewing, Crocheting, Scrapbooking, etc.) Dance (African, Ballet, Line, Hand, etc.) Enrichment (Language, Tutoring, Computer, STEM) Fitness (Cross Training, Sports Specific, Boot Camp, Spinning, Personal Trainers, etc.) Martial Arts (Aikido, Judo, Karate, Tae Kwon Do, etc.) Mind and Body (Tai Chi, Yoga, Meditation, etc.) Music (Instrumental and Voice) Sports (Basketball, Soccer, T-Ball, Tennis, Tumbling, etc.) For more information about the Seasonal Hiring process and application status for Prince George's County Parks and Recreation, please contact Brenda Miller at Brenda.Miller@Pgparks.com. Preferred Administrative experience managing and/or supervising a related program is desirable.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to interact with a wide variety of people and demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills

Ability to deliver informative and engaging instruction.
