Job description

Overview

The John Theurer Cancer Center (JTCC) in Hackensack, NJ is looking for a graduating Neuro-Oncology Fellow or a junior faculty member to join the growing Neuro-Oncology Division.  JTCC is an NCI Designated Cancer Center as part of the consortium with The Lombardi Cancer Center at Georgetown University, and is the largest cancer program in NJ.  The Neuro-Oncology Division at JTCC provides comprehensive multidisciplinary cancer care, supported by a team of neuro-oncologists, neurosurgeons, radiation oncologists, neuropathologists, and neuroradiologists.  The Neuro-Oncology research program is also rapidly expanding with a team of well-funded investigators at the Center of Discovery and Innovation of the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine.  This is a clinical position with opportunities to pursue clinical trials with a dedicated Neuro-Oncology clinical research team.  The Phase I program at JTCC is one the most active on the East Coast and the successful applicant will have opportunities to participate in early phase trials.

The applicant should be ABPN board certified or eligible in Neurology.  UCNS board eligibility is also required.  Successful applicant will be given academic appointments at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine and Georgetown University.
