Job description

JSM Airport Services, LLC is seeking a professional, skilled individual for the Site Manager at the Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU). This is a career-track opportunity, and we are looking for individuals ready to commit to a long-term professional future with our company, with an expected commitment of at least 1 year. The Site Manager will be responsible for the business, customer service, and financial aspects of the site.

Compensation:

  • Full Time
  • Weekly Pay
  • Annual Salary: Starting at $125,000 (Dependent on Experience)

Work Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm; however, occasional changes in the work schedule may occur, based on operational needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish priorities and goals (short and long term) in order to support the vision and strategic objectives of the Company
  • Manage, and adhere to, the requirements of the customer contract
  • Conduct relationship meetings with the Customer on a regular basis to:
  • Ensure customer satisfaction
  • Ensure that quality standards are being attained
  • Assess the potential for future work/sales
  • Manage and modify, as needed, the work processes and methods to meet contract and company objectives
  • Manage the day to day operational and administrative activities of the site:
  • Hiring/Recruitment

  • Training/Career development of staff

  • Morale/ Motivation of staff

  • Adhere to company training programs.
  • Adhere to applicable OSHA, state, local, and Company safety laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual budget for the site.
  • Perform regular review of the financial reports for the site.
  • Accounts receivable/payable
  • Capital expenditures.
  • Payroll
  • Able to work a flexible schedule (the airport is a 24/7 operation)
  • Safety and compliance training as required.
  • Perform other related job duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a 4-year college degree in a business-related discipline and/or a minimum of 4 years of equivalent work experience in a related field.
  • Please note that these requirements may be superseded by higher contract requirements.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Baggage Handling Systems (BHS) operation & maintenance
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience
  • Supervisory experience in a service industry, or
  • Supervisory experience in an airport environment (preferred)
  • Project Management or Organizational Development Experience (documented)
  • Possess OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification
  • Computer skills, with proficiency with Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
  • Excellent organizational skills: ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to write reports and business correspondence.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; must be a team player and customer service oriented.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to sit, stand, push, pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, or crawl on a frequent basis.
  • Ability to lift up-to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to withstand exposure to hot, cold, wet, or humid conditions.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job may include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Additional Requirements:

The employee must be able to successfully pass a drug screening, a drivers’ license check and validation, a ten (10) year Criminal History Records Check (CHRC), federal fingerprinting and security threat assessment as well as airport security badging.

Continued employment is subject to all the above requirements on an ongoing basis, failure of passing any of the above requirements may result in immediate termination.
