Job description

Our client is looking for a Drupal Web Designer to assist with web content migration to the new content management tool Drupal.  This project is essential to meeting the needs of the Seamless project identified as part of the ARPA Schedule 8 efforts to make information on the website to make the content is cleaner and more accessible.

 This position will be the primary resource for converting the existing external web pages from the native langauge to a new to solution, Drupal.  This position will also participate in department planning efforts and direct web page conversion from existing pages. 

<>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

·        Excellent communication skills as this resource may need to work with staff within the agency on the content.

·        Analytical/problem solving skills

 NOTE: Candidates be WI residents or willing to relocate to WI at their own expense prior to starting the role. Position is currently remote within the State of WI. Client prefers that the selected contract resource resides in greater Madison area. Contractor must be available to work onsite in Madison WI at their request, including consecutive weekdays or extended periods, without reimbursement for travel, lodging, or parking expenses

Location: Madison, WI
Contract: 6 months

Skills Required:

5 years of experience in the following:

·        Experience working in Drupal, with a specific focus on content migration to Drupal.

·        Ability to work independently under tight deadlines to meet the delivery needs of the project.

·        MS Office 2010/O365

 Skills Desired – A plus to have:

·        Experience with user experience web content design (e.g., experiences in best practices for organizing web site materials to improve user experience)

·        3 years - Experience in Technical Writing and Documentation

·        Previous work experience in large agency/environment
