Overview:
Job Title: Scrum Master
Location: Remote
Duration: Long Term Contract
  • Be able to communicate at all levels (internal team, external teams, management, leadership, sr leadership)
  • Be engaging and the cheerleader of the team - keeping morale high, giving empathy when needed
  • Knowing when to challenge/push back on the team as well as external teams and how to do that diplomatically
  • Being comfortable/confident in SM skill sets
  • Being a leader of the team
  • Comfortable providing constructive feedback to all levels (jr through sr engineers, managers, directors, etc.)
  • Extreme organizational skills
  • Focusing on proactive needs rather than reactive, always prepared for the team's needs at least a week in advance, ideally a sprint in advance (this is for administrative work that is predictable, not fire drill work that is unpredictable)
  • Social skills are important for the team culture, creating a safe space for the team, encouraging participation, being able to pull individuals in that are on the quieter side
