Job description

As a Roadshow Specialist, you will play a key role in high-profile equity capital markets marketing, ensuring the most desirable investor clients are targeted during the roadshow. Your proactive mindset, professionalism, and precision will help deliver best-in-class execution for internal stakeholders and external clients in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Job summary:

Based in New York, the Roadshow Specialist supports both the Equity Capital Markets team and the Equity Roadshow Desk for primarily US equity deal and non-deal marketing roadshows. You will ensure that investor clients identified by Equity Capital Markets are targeted, invited, and scheduled during the roadshow, while delivering timely updates to clients and internal teams. The role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong communication, sound judgment in confidential situations, and the ability to thrive amid shifting priorities while maintaining a client-first mindset.

Job responsibilities

  • Coordinate investor client targeting and participation in equity marketing roadshows for primarily US equity deals and "pre-deals", partnering closely with deal teams and clients.
  • Understand investor prioritization to allocate meetings most impactfully; confirm which investors receive which meeting slots.
  • Compose event announcement emails to be sent to sales teams and investor clients.
  • Review daily schedule updates sent to clients and internal groups to ensure changes, confirmations, and contingencies are clearly documented; communicate schedules directly with corporate management and investors as needed.
  • Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders via phone and email; escalate issues with urgency and clarity.
  • Apply sound judgment in confidential situations; proactively identify and resolve risks or conflicts in schedules and logistics.
  • Leverage technology and best practices to improve workflow efficiency and client experience across engagements.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Outstanding organizational and communication skills; responsive, reliable, and client-service oriented.
  • Demonstrated tact and good judgment in confidential situations; proven experience interacting with clients.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment; strong time management, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills; team player.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities, with strong ability to leverage technology and best practices.
  • Ability to adapt procedures, processes, and techniques to support full roadshow execution.
  • Bachelor's degree required.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 2-3 years of experience in roadshow marketing and/or corporate access.
  • Experience with executive or client-facing events with complex logistics.
  • Familiarity with financial services environments and high-profile client expectations.
