Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for daily Pre-Task Planning of work performed.
  • Layout, fabricate, assemble, and install piping systems.
  • Read, understand, and install all blueprints, isometric drawings, and construction plans for pipe systems, supports, and related equipment. Building plans, schedule, working drawings, 3D models, benchmarks, and ISOs to determine work required and sequence of installations.
  • Install, inspect, and test systems.
  • Repair and replace damaged pipe components.
  • Mentoring apprentice-level pipefitters and helpers.
  • Test pipe system to ensure no leaks.
  • Work with QA/QC for final inspections.
  • Follow all job site safety rules and regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 5+ years of commercial/industrial pipefitting experience.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and favorable driving record required.
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment background check and drug screen
  • Employees may be required to work extended hours (more than 8 hours per day), weekends, and holidays.
  • Some travel may be required.
  • Must have all personal hand tools for the trade.
  • Journeyman pipefitter license desired.
