Mold Maker / Journeyman ToolmakerJob Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mold Maker / Journeyman Toolmaker with a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in injection mold construction and assembly. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled, fully computer literate, and experienced in precision tooling and mold manufacturing processes. Familiarity with the equipment, tooling systems, and manufacturing processes featured on our website is essential.

This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build, assemble, repair, and maintain precision injection molds and tooling components.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, engineering specifications, and technical documents.

  • Operate toolroom equipment, CNC machinery, grinders, mills, lathes, and related equipment as required.

  • Perform mold fitting, spotting, polishing, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal mold performance.

  • Inspect molds and tooling components to verify accuracy, tolerances, and quality standards.

  • Work closely with engineering and production teams to support tooling improvements and process efficiency.

  • Troubleshoot mold and tooling issues and implement corrective actions.

  • Maintain accurate records of tooling modifications, repairs, and maintenance activities.

  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures and quality standards.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the toolroom and manufacturing operations.

Required Qualifications
  • Journeyman Toolmaker certification or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in mold making and injection mold construction/assembly.
