Familiarity with publication management systems such as ScholarOne or Editorial Manager, as well as adherence to industry standards like APA or AMA style guides, is essential. Outstanding communication, organization, and conflict resolution skills enable a Journal Editor to manage peer reviews and coordinate with authors and reviewers effectively. These abilities ensure that published content meets high standards of quality, accuracy, and timeliness in the academic or professional field.
