Role Description The Maintenance Technician is a full-time, on-site role based at Jolly Pets’ facility in Streetsboro, OH. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment, machinery, and facility systems to support continuous, safe, and efficient operations. Day-to-day duties include performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical and minor electrical issues, replacing parts, and documenting maintenance activities in accordance with company standards. The Maintenance Technician will collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime, monitor equipment performance, and recommend improvements to processes or equipment reliability. The role also involves adhering to safety protocols, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and assisting with installation or upgrades of industrial equipment as needed.
Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess skills in Equipment Maintenance and Industrial Maintenance for manufacturing and facility systems.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting and Maintenance & Repair to diagnose and resolve mechanical and basic electrical issues.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Preventive Maintenance to perform scheduled inspections, adjustments, and component replacements.
  • Experience working in a production or industrial environment, preferably in manufacturing or packaging.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and work orders; basic computer skills for maintenance documentation.
  • Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently or in a team setting.
  • Physical ability to stand, bend, lift moderate weights, and work with tools and equipment for extended periods.
  • Relevant technical training or certification in industrial maintenance, mechanical systems, or a related field is preferred.
