Job description

Position Summary
Orlando Health Medical Group's Radiology Department is a well-established and large hospital-employed team. We are seeking dynamic and talented Radiologists to join our expanding team. We offer a supportive, collegial environment combined with an exceptional quality of life with both remote or onsite opportunities available. Candidates with expertise in Body, Interventional, Neuro, Diagnostic, and Emergency Imaging are encouraged to apply. General and emergency diagnostic imaging will also be part of your daily work.
Work Schedule & Compensation Options:
We offer a variety of flexible schedules, including both onsite and remote opportunities:
  • Onsite: 220-day shifts/year (200 weekday + 20 weekend shifts) - $600K + $100K starting bonus + bonus opportunities
    Locations include Orlando, Florida's West Coast, and East Coast.
  • Onsite: 210-day shifts/year (no weekends) - $400K + $100k starting bonus
    Locations include Orlando, Florida's West Coast and East Coast.

  • Remote: Rotating day shift - 7 days on, 7 days off - $525K + $75k starting bonus + bonus opportunities
  • Remote: Rotating day shift - 5 weekdays on, weekends off, then 7 days straight (Mon-Sun) on, followed by 7 days off (Mon-Sun); 204 shifts/year - $569K + $75k starting bonus + bonus opportunities
  • Remote: Rotating evening shift - 7 days on, 7 days off - $628K + $75k starting bonus + bonus opportunities
  • Remote: Rotating overnight shift - 7 days on, 14 days off - $547K + $100k starting bonus + bonus opportunities

Orlando Health Medical Group performs over 3 million encounters annually across more than 200 ambulatory locations. The facilities our Medical Group serves includes including Orlando Regional Medical Center, a Level I trauma center, Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies, Orlando Health Cancer Institute, Dr. P. Phillips Hospital, South Seminole Hospital, South Lake Hospital, St. Cloud Regional Medical Center, Orlando Health's Health Central Hospital, Orlando Health Sebastian River Hospital, Orlando Health Melbourne Hospital and Bayfront Health Hospital. Additionally, our group proudly serves several free-standing ERs and outpatient imaging centers.
Candidate Requirements:
  • BE/BC by the American Board of Radiology or American Osteopathic Association
  • Fellowship training preferred but not required
  • Successful completion of ACGME/AOA-accredited Radiology training program
  • Unrestricted Florida medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • J-1 visa sponsorship not available

With the 2022 acquisition of Medical Center Radiology Group (MCRG), whose board-certified radiologists have interpreted medical imaging for the healthcare system since 1949, Orlando Health is further leveraging the expertise of the radiology group and supporting an ongoing investment in patient care. Orlando Health Medical Group Radiology is the diagnostic radiology, interventional radiology and nuclear medicine group for all Orlando Health hospitals as well as the system's numerous freestanding ERs and Orlando Health Imaging Centers outpatient locations throughout Central Florida, with many modalities accredited by the American College of Radiology.
