Join Our Team as a Licensed Electrician at Johnson Electric!

Johnson Electric Stratford Facility

Salary Range:

The compensation range for this position is $45.00 - $52.00. Placement within the range will depend on the selected candidate's experience, skills, qualifications, and overall assessment during the hiring process.


Vacancy Type:

Existing Position. Permanent Full-Time

As our next Licensed Industrial Electrician, you'll be at the forefront of maintaining and optimizing critical manufacturing equipment and electrical systems. Your expertise in industrial electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and system installation will be crucial in ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable production operations while supporting continuous improvement across our facility.


What You'll Be Doing:

  • Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical systems on robots, CNC machines, conveyors, generators, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic control equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to support equipment installations and modifications.
  • Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and testing of electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
  • Install, replace, and repair electrical wiring, conduits, switch boxes, receptacles, and other electrical components.
  • Assist with electrical infrastructure projects, facility upgrades, and new equipment installations.
  • Work with low voltage wiring systems to ensure safety standards compliance.
  • Maintain compliance with all Health & Safety, Quality, and manufacturing procedures.


What We're Looking For:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Licensed Industrial Electrician Certification (Required).
  • 3–5 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or construction environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and electrical codes.
  • Experience working with low-voltage systems and PLC-controlled equipment.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively within a fast-paced team environment.
  • Language of Work requirement: Proficiency in English Language


Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Additional technical certifications in automation or industrial controls.
  • Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting.
  • Construction experience related to industrial facilities.
  • Experience commissioning and validating industrial electrical systems.
