Job description

Pediatric Gynecologist

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Shift: Monday to Friday, Daytime, 8 AM - 5 PM

Our organization is recognized as Arizona's leading children's hospital and serves as a key regional center across the Southwest. With 533 licensed beds and a network of over 1,200 employed and affiliated physicians, we are on the verge of becoming one of the largest pediatric health systems in the nation. Phoenix is frequently listed among the best places to reside in the United States, featuring over 300 sunny days annually and easy access to both ocean and mountain recreational areas.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves delivering both medical and surgical care to pediatric and adolescent patients in gynecology. Our clinic caters to individuals from birth up to 24 years old, and we also operate an adult clinic designed for those with special needs or complex medical histories who benefit from a pediatric setting. The selected candidate will participate in a multidisciplinary clinic focused on reproductive tract anomalies.

The primary Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology (PAG) clinic is located on the main campus of our facility, with additional services extending to the East and West Valley. The candidate will provide care at the main campus and will be required to work at a satellite clinic 1-2 days each week.

Qualifications
  • Applicants must be Board eligible or Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Preference will be given to those who have completed a Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology Fellowship; however, candidates with substantial clinical experience who have not completed a fellowship will also be considered.
  • Candidates should possess or be eligible for the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology Focused Practice Designation in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology.
