Job description

Diamond Tree Experts is currently has a full time Groundsman/ Tree Climber position available for an individual with a strong work ethic who is able to work independently, enjoys learning new skills, and likes working outdoors. Competitive pay and clean safe work environment!

Responsibilities:

The Tree Climber is a skilled position responsible for:

  • Tree maintenance, pruning and removals on residential and commercial properties using ropes, harness, saddle, and/or bucket truck.
  • Assistance with lowering limbs, chipping brush and complete clean-up.
  • Operation and basic maintenance of chippers, chain saws, and other equipment.
  • Ability to work in a team environment where communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to perform strenuous manual work in all weather conditions Knowledge and execution of proper pruning per ISA standards.

The Groundsman is a skilled position responsible for:

  • Moving trimmed branches to a chipper or truck.
  • Also to offer assistance with lowering limbs, chipping brush and complete clean-up.
  • Ability to work in a team environment where communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to perform strenuous manual work in all weather conditions.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a valid License. CDL, a plus.
  • Minimum experience 1-2 years
