Salary Range: $60,000.00 To $72,000.00 Annually

Position Summary

The Training Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, coordinating, and maintaining the plant-wide training and competency program for all employees at the catalyst recycling facility. This position ensures employees receive the knowledge, skills, and certifications necessary to safely and effectively perform their jobs while maintaining compliance with OSHA, EPA, TCEQ, and company policies.

The Training Coordinator partners closely with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Environmental, Safety, and Human Resources to build a highly skilled workforce focused on safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coordinate all company training activities for hourly and salaried employees.
  • Maintain the plant Learning Management System (LMS) or equivalent training database.
  • Schedule classroom, computer-based, and hands-on training.
  • Maintain accurate training records and documentation.
  • Monitor employee certifications and qualification expiration dates.
  • Generate monthly compliance and training reports for management.
  • Coordinate new employee orientation.
  • Ensure completion of required regulatory and company onboarding.
  • Coordinate departmental onboarding with supervisors.
  • Track completion of probationary training requirements.
  • Coordinate and maintain qualification programs for all plant operating areas.
  • Assist in the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Training, Skills assessments, cross-training programs and qualification checklists.
  • Track employee progression through qualification levels.
  • Assist supervisors in identifying competency gaps.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through testing and field observations.
  • Establish and maintain a training budget.
  • Any other duties as assigned by management.
Education

Bachelor’s degree in education, Safety, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in chemical processing.
  • Minimum 3 years coordinating employee training programs.
  • Experience in chemical manufacturing, refining, mining, metals, or catalyst recycling
