Position Purpose

NEXPERA's Talent Partner is responsible for leading full-cycle recruiting efforts and supporting strategic talent development initiatives across the organization. This role focuses on sourcing and securing top talent for technical, professional, and leadership positions while enhancing the employee lifecycle through structured onboarding, workforce planning, and development programs. The position plays a critical role in building scalable talent pipelines, strengthening organizational capability, and aligning workforce strategies with business objectives.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition & Recruiting
    • Lead full cycle recruiting efforts for a wide range of roles, including technical, executive, and hard-to-fill positions.
    • Partner with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies, job profiles, and market-aligned sourcing plans.
    • Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines through proactive sourcing, networking, and workforce planning.
    • Manage candidate experience from intake through offer, ensuring a professional and consistent process.
    • Coordinate and attend career fairs, industry events, and external recruiting initiatives.
    • Maintain and track recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, pipeline strength).


  • Pre-Employment & Onboarding
    • Oversee pre-employment processes including background checks, drug screenings, and physicals.
    • Coordinate onboarding logistics and ensure a seamless new hire experience.
    • Facilitate new hire orientation sessions and partner with business leaders onboarding plans.
    • Update and improve new hire orientation material and streamline the onboarding process.
    • Ensure compliance with all hiring and onboarding requirements.


  • Talent Development
    • Support development of internal talent pipelines through succession and workforce planning initiatives.
    • Identify skill gaps and partner with leadership on targeted development strategies.
    • Assist in designing and implementing training and development programs.
    • Provide guidance to managers on interviewing techniques, hiring decisions, and employee development.


  • Career Development & Organizational Planning
    • Assist in building and maintaining a structured career development framework across the organization.
    • Support succession planning initiatives, including identifying critical roles and internal talent readiness.
    • Contribute to workforce planning efforts, aligning staffing strategies with long-term business needs.


  • Site & Business Support
    • Conduct periodic site visits to support recruiting, onboarding, and retention initiatives.
    • Build strong relationships with site leadership and employees to understand talent needs.
    • Assist with HR administrative processes and reporting.
    • Participate in HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.


  • Experience
    • 5-7 years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition, preferably in industrial, chemical, or manufacturing environments.
    • Experience recruiting for technical and hard-to-fill roles is strongly preferred.
    • Exposure to talent development, succession planning, or workforce planning.


  • Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
    • Strong understanding of full-cycle recruiting and sourcing strategies.
    • Ability to recruit across multiple levels, including professional, technical, and leadership roles.
    • Strong organizational and project management skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
    • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong proficiency in HRIS/ATS systems (ADP WFN preferred) and Microsoft Office tools.


  • Certifications
    • Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
    • SHRM-CP or PHR preferred.


  • Work Environment
    • Office based, hybrid setting.
    • Ability to travel up to 30%.
    • Travel to chemical manufacturing plants as needed.
