Job description

Day Shift Monday through Friday 6:00 am to 4:30 pm
PTO upon hire, Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits are offered on the first day of the month after hire, 401(k) after 6 months.
Overview: As an Inventory Manager for Keel Midwest, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels through assurance of internal controls and conducting proper cycle counts utilizing an ERP system.
Job Functions:
  • Assist with tracking and expediting inventory.
  • Record and maintain control of all inventory items purchased and produced, according to procedures and work instructions.
  • Reviews and oversees materials processing standards (scrap, inventory levels, etc.).
  • Communicates recommended changes to appropriate manufacturing leaders.
  • Ensures compliance with inventory control procedures and that inventories are maintained to meet the necessary production schedule requirements.

Physical Demands: Minimal physical stress, but moderate mental stress due to deadlines and responsibilities.
Work Environment: Typical shop floor environment in a job shop welding facility with frequent computer use. PPE is required at all times on shop floor.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED required, bachelor's degree in business administration or other related field preferred.
  • Minimum of three years experience in manufacturing required, five or more years of inventory experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Must have strong time management skills, be able to recognize problems before they arise, and use critical thinking.
  • Ideal candidates will be dependable, showing a high level of integrity and good attention to detail.
