Data Business Analyst (Azure Data Platform)
Location: Remote or Twin Cities, MN (Hybrid Preferred)
Duration: 6 months
Rate: $ 55-60/hr
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Business Analyst with a focus on data.
  • Strong SQL skills, including complex queries against large datasets.
  • Demonstrated experience in data mapping, data profiling, and source-to-target documentation.
  • Experience working with modern data platforms; familiarity with Microsoft Azure Data Factory (ADF), Data Lake, and/or Microsoft Fabric is a plus.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort interfacing with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Agile or hybrid Agile/Waterfall delivery methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools.
  • Prior work with CRM (e.g., Salesforce) or ERP data pipelines.
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks and metadata management.

Experience with Excel, Visio, and other documentation tools.
