Site Manager

Location: On-site, Finland
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Crown is Ireland’s leading specialist roofing, cladding, and façade contractor, delivering high-quality projects across Ireland and Europe. We work across a wide range of sectors including digital technology, commercial, retail, industrial, residential, pharmaceutical, and healthcare.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee projects in Finland. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering projects safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day site operations across projects in Ireland, Finland, and Germany
  • Ensure sufficient labour resources are available on site and fully compliant with Health & Safety requirements
  • Coordinate procurement and delivery of materials in line with project programmes and budget requirements
  • Ensure all plant and equipment are available, suitable for purpose, and compliant with Health & Safety regulations
  • Deliver works in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements
  • Implement and maintain site quality assurance procedures, including Inspection and Test Plans
  • Prepare, review, and update risk assessments and method statements as required
  • Monitor site progress and issue weekly reports including planned versus actual updates, dropline reporting, and dated photographs
  • Chair internal site meetings and attend coordination meetings with Main Contractors, Clients, and design teams
  • Maintain accurate project records, including site diaries, meeting minutes, and photographic records
  • Work closely with the Project Manager, QS team, and Project Director to ensure commercial objectives are achieved
  • Monitor labour, plant, and material costs against approved budgets
  • Identify and report project variations promptly to support pricing and programme adjustments
  • Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and site teams
  • Promote and maintain a proactive safety culture across all projects
  • Lead by example and uphold the company’s professional standards at all times
  • Work on a rotational basis across project sites, including flexibility for travel and occasional unsocial working hours
  • Construction-related qualification; Construction Science or Engineering preferred
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Site Management role within roofing, cladding, or façade projects
  • Strong understanding of roofing and cladding construction methods and best practice
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills
  • Commercial awareness with experience monitoring project costs and progress
  • High level of IT proficiency including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint; Microsoft Project advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Full, current driving licence
  • Flexibility to travel and work across multiple European project locations
