Position Summary:
The IMPACT Connect Intern will assist in building, implementing, and evaluating IMPACT Connect in Southeastern Wisconsin. IMPACT Connect is a community information exchange, connecting agencies and sectors through technology and a shared governance process.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers in developing internal workflow processes for implementation of IMPACT Connect.
  • Accurately document potential community-based organizations (CBO) and their contacts on our internal pipeline in an excel spreadsheet.
  • Support the recruitment of new partners to strategically add to the network.
  • Support inter-agency workflows as needed.
  • Participate in ongoing IMPACT training and staff meetings.
  • Participate in regularly scheduled collaborative meetings.
  • Implement and cofacilitate the Community Advisory Community (CAC) meetings with the IMPACT Connect Coordinator.
  • Assess, identify, and implement initiatives to increase adoption and user utilization of IMPACT Connect in collaboration with the CAC.

Abilities/Skills:
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint.
  • Must be a team player, organized, and have strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must also be a self-starter and have the ability to take independent initiative on projects.
  • Must have a positive attitude and be able to give and receive feedback for improvement.
  • Ability to work with a non-judgmental attitude in a population comprised of diversity in gender, socio-economic and ethnic group, sexual orientation, and physical or mental abilities.

Qualifications:
  • Must be currently enrolled in an associate or bachelor's degree program in Human Services, Public Health, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Reside in the state of Wisconsin
