Job description

Customer Care Representative.
 
Location: Buford, GA.
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
Pay: 20.00 – $21 per hour.
 
Job Summary:
We are hiring a Customer Care Representative to support order entry and customer care operations at a busy distribution center in Buford, GA. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with multiple order formats and internal systems. You will play a key role in ensuring purchase orders are accurate, complete, and released on time.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Enter and process commercial purchase orders.
  • Review, proof, and verify orders for accuracy.
  • Process orders received via XML, EDI, SIF, and PDF formats.
  • Navigate AS400 and other internal systems.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure specialty and key accounts are entered correctly.
  • Perform final quality assurance checks prior to releasing orders into production.
  • Revise or cancel purchase orders prior to release as needed.
  • Communicate with internal review teams regarding order holds, approvals, or deposits.
  • File and maintain documentation according to established procedures.
  • Complete ongoing training and perform additional duties as assigned.
     
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).
  • Previous data entry, order processing, or customer care experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic math skills, including percentages and calculations.
  • Ability to analyze information and resolve issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
