Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced JFrog Administrator to manage and optimize our JFrog platform, including Artifactory, Xray, and Distribution. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in artifact repository management, CI/CD integration, DevOps practices, and platform administration. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of the JFrog ecosystem while supporting software development and release processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer, configure, and maintain the JFrog Platform, including Artifactory, Xray, and Distribution.
  • Design, manage, and optimize artifact repositories and lifecycle policies.
  • Configure and maintain JFrog Xray for vulnerability scanning, license compliance, and security analysis.
  • Integrate JFrog solutions with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab, and Azure DevOps.
  • Implement and maintain repository structures, access controls, permissions, and security policies.
  • Perform platform upgrades, patching, backup, recovery, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot repository, integration, and deployment issues.
  • Collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to support software delivery pipelines.
  • Automate administrative tasks using Bash scripting and infrastructure automation tools.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and platform standards.
  • Ensure platform availability, scalability, and compliance with organizational security requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 4+ years of experience administering JFrog Artifactory in enterprise environments.
  • Hands-on experience with JFrog Artifactory, Xray, and Distribution.
  • Strong understanding of repository management and artifact lifecycle best practices.
  • Experience integrating JFrog with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
  • Proficiency with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, and Bash scripting.
  • Experience implementing role-based access control (RBAC), authentication, and security policies.
  • Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and system administration skills.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and Ansible).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
  • Experience implementing DevSecOps practices and security automation.
  • Familiarity with enterprise DevOps tools and modern software delivery methodologies.
  • Experience supporting highly available, large-scale DevOps platforms.
