CT Technologist

CT Technologist | HCA Florida JFK Hospital Atlantis, FL Full-Time | M-F, 3:00 p.m. 11:00 p.m. | Salary: $30.34 to $42.47/hr Sign-On Bonus: Up to $20K | Relocation: Not offered | Fee: 20% of annual salary

Overview

HCA Florida JFK Hospital is a 558-bed acute care facility with four Palm Beach County locations. Services include emergency care, cardiovascular care, neurosciences, robotic surgery, orthopedics, bariatrics, behavioral health, and obstetrics. The hospital is a Joint Commission Primary Stroke Center, a certified Ventricular Assist Device program, an ACC Chest Pain Center, and an ACS Commission on Cancer accredited Comprehensive Community Cancer Program.

We are seeking a CT Technologist to provide high-quality imaging services for inpatient and outpatient populations across all age groups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of CT imaging procedures to diagnose medical conditions
  • Prepare patients and explain procedures, obtaining consent when required
  • Determine appropriate anatomical positioning and shielding for patients
  • Collaborate with physicians and imaging staff as needed
  • Follow aseptic and sterile technique for applicable procedures
  • Maintain accurate documentation for each procedure immediately after completion
  • Adhere to infection control standards and departmental policies

Qualifications

Required:

  • Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Imaging program
  • Florida State DOH General Radiographer license
  • ARRT CT Registry or registry-eligible (acquire within 6 months of hire)
  • One year of CT experience preferred (seasoned X-ray techs may be trained to CT)

Preferred:

  • Acute care or hospital-based experience
  • Strong patient communication skills and attention to detail

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly Rate: $30.34-$42.47 (based on experience)
