Job description

At Bailey’s Fine Jewelry, we are dedicated to providing high-quality products and exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a highly responsible, detail-oriented Internal Courier to join our team and ensure the safe and secure transportation of inventory between our retail locations.

Job Summary:

Time: 830-530 Monday- Friday.

The Internal Courier is responsible for the safe and timely transport of inventory between our various retail locations. This role requires strict adherence to security policies, safety protocols, and confidentiality standards to ensure the integrity of our inventory throughout transit.

A company-provided transport vehicle will be available during working hours, and the selected candidate must maintain a clean driving record and pass a thorough background check.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely transport inventory between designated retail locations while strictly following security and safety procedures.
  • Handle inventory with utmost care and follow company guidelines for secure handling and storage. Must be able to lift and transport heavy boxes and large items.
  • Follow predetermined routes and schedules, while remaining flexible to adjust to any necessary changes.
  • Maintain open and clear communication with retail staff and management regarding deliveries.
  • Ensure discreet handling of all transported goods to minimize risk.
  • Report any security concerns, irregularities, or transportation issues immediately to management.

    Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Must have a clean criminal background and clean driving record.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and demonstrate a strong history of safe driving habits.
  • Detailoriented with a high level of integrity and responsibility.
  • Ability to strictly follow security policies and procedures without exception.
  • Ability to handle confidential company assets with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to meet scheduled deliveries consistently.
  • Comfortable working independently while maintaining direct communication with leadership.
  • Must be physically capable of lifting and transporting inventory as required. Some items can be large, but will have the help of a dolly.
