Job description

This is a fun, customer-focused position where you’ll help tourists, and locals in the market create meaningful jewelry pieces while providing an exceptional shopping experience.

Schedule

  • Monday through Thursdays guaranteed Fridays if open
  • 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Weekend availability is a plus, with flexible scheduling for markets, festivals, and special events

Compensation

  • $18 per hour
  • 10% commission on permanent jewelry sales

Responsibilities

  • Weld and apply permanent jewelry bracelets, anklets, and necklaces
  • Assist customers in selecting chains and custom pieces
  • Educate customers on jewelry materials and care
  • Provide a warm, welcoming experience for every guest
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and beautiful workspace
  • Assist with inventory organization and restocking
  • Help set up and break down market displays and events when needed
  • Process transactions through Shopify POS

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of hands-on permanent jewelry experience
  • Strong knowledge of permanent jewelry application, chain selection, sizing, and welding techniques
  • Experience operating permanent jewelry welding equipment safely and confidently
  • Understanding of welding safety procedures and customer protection protocols
  • Proven sales and customer service experience
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and maintain a professional work environment
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
