As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest improvements to the architecture. May telecommute. (385.21250)
Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Developer-related occupation. Position requires:
1. Operating Systems including Linux and Windows;
2. Cloud infrastructure technologies including Amazon Web Services, Oracle Public Cloud, or Microsoft Azure;
3. Agile development methodologies including Scrum;
4. Programming Language: Java;
5. Web Design using AJAX, JavaScript, HTML, CSS;
6. Application Servers including Apache HTTP and Tomcat or Jetty and Jackson;
7. AWS Services including S3, SQS, SWF, and DynamoDB;
8. Open Source Tools and Software;
9. Design of service-oriented architectures including designing for the durability, scalability, and reliability needs of services;
10. API Design: Cross-team or customer-facing public API design for long-term usage;
11. Design of APIs for use in consoles (browser based user-interfaces);
12. Deployment to highly-available services;
13. System operations, including production, deployment, and management;
14. Design and use of encryption in a secure service, including key management and rotation systems;
15. Using workflows for asynchronous execution of tasks; and,
16. PHP, C, Python, and MySQL.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $135,200 to $306,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
