Description
Aeriz is searching for a full-time Trim Technician - for our state-of-the-art indoor aeroponic cannabis production facility in Riverbank, CA.
Position Overview: The Trimming Technician is responsible for hand trimming or machine trimming dried cannabis flowers to ensure a high quality, aesthetically pleasing final product. This role requires extreme attention to detail, efficiency, and adherence to company quality standards and regulatory compliance. This is a manufacturing position in a production environment. This role will report directly to the Trimming Supervisor and work on-site at our facility in Riverbank.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare cannabis for packaging and distribution to dispensaries
  • Log processing and trimming data on computer as needed.
  • General understanding of strains.
  • Extensive attention to detail.
  • Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
  • Ability to work both in a team and independently.
  • Arrive on time with a positive and energetic attitude.
  • Follow all standard operating procedures set forth by management.
  • Precisely hand trim cannabis flower, removing only excess leaves and stems to maintain the integrity and aesthetic quality of the bud structure.
  • Operate and monitor trimming machines if applicable, ensuring product quality.
  • Maintain strict records of trimmed products, waste, QC and duration to complete the task
  • Inspect the flower for mold, pests or other contaminants, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
  • Accurately weigh and track all trimmed flower and waste in accordance with regulatory compliance.
  • Clean and sanitize trimming tools, workstations and equipment between each strain and at the end of each shift. Keep the working area organized and in pristine condition.
  • Adhere to proper PPE requirements, including gloves, coveralls and hairnets.
  • Meet daily and weekly trimming quotas based on company production goals.
  • Maintain trimming efficiency without sacrificing product quality.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and communicate any issues or suggestions for improvement.
  • Other duties/tasks as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Must be 21+ years old
  • Pass a Background Check
  • Ability to work full shift 8hr+
  • Ability to work nights and weekends
  • Ability to trim 3lbs - 5lbs per 8hr shif
  • Previous experience in manufacturing preferred

Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach, bend, climb, stretch and lift up to 30 pounds. Requires the manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment and hand tools.
Work Environment:
This position involves a fair amount of manual labor which requires repetitive tasks. This position operates indoors which can reach different temperatures. This position may require working at heights up to or exceeding 10 feet. The Cultivation Department operates on weekends and holidays, and standard work hours may apply regardless of day or season.
