Director of Vendor Relations

Full-Time | Jets.com

Jets.com is seeking a strategic, relationship-driven, and operationally focused Director of vendor relations to lead and grow our operator sourcing and procurement function. This leadership role will oversee operator relationships, contract negotiations, sourcing standards, and quality control initiatives that directly impact client experience, operational performance, and company growth.

This role serves as the primary liaison between Jets.com and aircraft operators, ensuring strong partnerships, competitive pricing, and exceptional service standards across our sourcing network.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead operator negotiations including hourly rates, rebate programs, fuel/FBO fees, and contract terms

· Build and maintain strong operator relationships through regular communication and in-person visits

· Oversee operator performance standards and address service or quality concerns

· Coordinate with Scheduling, Safety, Flight Desk, and Sales teams on sourcing and operational initiatives

· Develop and maintain sourcing standards, SOPs, and preferred operator programs

· Conduct operator audits and site visits alongside the Safety team

· Serve as the escalation point for operator-related operational issues

· Monitor operator performance metrics, service quality, and cost-saving opportunities

· Assist in expanding and improving Jets.com’s sourcing pool and preferred vendor network

What We’re Looking For

· Aviation industry experience strongly preferred

· Experience in procurement, vendor management, sourcing, scheduling, or operations leadership

· Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills

· Ability to manage operational escalations in a fast-paced environment

· Strong organizational and communication skills

· Willingness to travel for operator visits and industry meetings

· Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments
