Job description

Company Description

Comoto’s brands, RevZilla, Cycle Gear, J&P Cycles, REVER, and Common Tread,  deliver premium products, dedicated expertise, engaging media, and passionate customer support of the powersports community, through best-in-class e-commerce and retail experiences.

****We strongly prefer this position to be based out of our Philadelphia HQ (Hybrid 2-3 days per week). However, we are open for this role to based out of one of our Fulfillment Center (Lawnside, Louisville, or Las Vegas or remotely. If remote, must be based in the United States.****

Job Description

You are a seasoned ERP leader (JDE) who is equally experienced on  fulfillment center floor, Accounting & Finance leadership team, and in the executive suite. You lead with metrics and structure; you know JD Edwards deeply across both fulfillment and financials, and you are forward-looking about where the platform, the cloud, and AI are heading.

You will own the full JDE application portfolio — everything connected to or embedded in JDE — and lead the team and partners that deliver it:

  • The JDE platform & ecosystem — fulfillment (RFSmart, Parcel / shipping, QC Software, warehouse robotics), financials and AP (ScanMan, K-RISE and related), integrations, orchestration, and the surrounding supporting applications.
  • The JDE team — functional / business analysts, developers, and finance analysts reporting to you directly.
  • End-to-end delivery — JDE projects, enhancements, and support, run with tollgate discipline and clear delivery metrics.
  • The vendor ecosystem — managed-service and delivery partners for CNC, DBA, project delivery, and monitoring, governed through clear SOWs and healthy competitive tension.
  • Key partnerships — Systems Operations / IT (production, CNC, and the cloud / OCI roadmap run in close partnership), Accounting & Finance, and Fulfillment Center leadership.

Our First Director, ERP Will:

  • Own strategy & roadmap — set the JDE strategy and roadmap with key Business stakeholders; translate business priorities into a sequenced, ROI-cased plan aligned with executive leadership.
  • Be the accountable owner and face of JDE to the business, the executive team, and externally — one voice for strategy, delivery, and support.
  • Lead and develop the team — set clear role expectations, coach the function, restore the embedded fulfillment-center support model, and build bench strength.
  • Install delivery discipline — charter → business-requirements sign-off → solution design → estimates → structured execution → plan-vs-actual tracking, with delivery metrics and spend visibility on every initiative.
  • Run projects like a business — ROI-cased, leadership-aligned, and delivered through governed, fixed-price partner engagements where it makes sense, while keeping requirements, context, and platform knowledge in-house.
  • Own solutioning across fulfillment and financials / AP — partner with Accounting & Finance in its own language on AP modernization and financial processes, and with the FCs on fulfillment optimization.
  • Establish governance & compliance — configuration, change-management, documentation, validation, auditability, and access controls consistent with PCI / SOC 2 and internal standards.
  • Remove key-person risk — convert solo dependencies into governed, trainable, resilient managed services, and expand the managed-service model.
  • Drive the modernization & cloud roadmap — sequence JDE modernization, the OCI cloud migration, AI / automation, and integration modernization
Qualifications

This is not a step-up role. We are looking for a leader who already operates at the Director level or above and has personally led a JDE / ERP function through a transformation like this one — building delivery discipline, enhancing the operating model, and helping achieve business outcomes. You have done this before and can do it again from day one.

Our Director, ERP Has:

  • 16+ years of ERP experience, including deep, current hands-on and leadership experience with Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (10+ years JDE).
  • 5+ years leading teams at the Manager / Director level — currently operating at Director level or above.
  • Proven track record leading ERP transformations — has personally led two or more end-to-end ERP / JDE transformation or organizational-restructuring initiatives (operating-model, delivery discipline, or major program), with measurable results.
  • Deep JDE domain expertise across both fulfillment/distribution and financials / AP — not one or the other; strong on the modules that run our business (distribution, inventory, warehouse, financials / AP).
  • End-to-end JDE depth — Projects, Support, and CNC knowledge; able to run JDE as a self-contained function.
  • Vendor-management strength — highly experienced managing JDE partners and managed-service engagements, including SOWs and delivery accountability.
  • A metrics-driven operator — owns, manages, and reports delivery metrics and spend as a genuine strength, not an afterthought.
  • AI-forward and integration-savvy — fluent in JDE integration tooling (Orchestrator / AIS and related) and JDE’s limitations, and active in the AI space around ERP.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Retail, powersports, or high-volume distribution, multi-brand experience.
  • JDE 9.2 and cloud migration (OCI) experience
  • Experience operating in a PCI / SOC 2 environment and with international/multicurrency operations.
  • Enterprise-grade third-party tools that assist in the JDE ecosystem
  • Master’s Degree/MBA
  • Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne certification
