Trust & Estate Administration Paralegal

Based in Boca Raton, FL, we are a nationally recognized law firm known for its client-focused approach collaborative culture and commitment to delivering practical results. The Trusts & Estates practice is expanding and seeking an experienced Trust & Estate Administration Paralegal to join a growing team supporting sophisticated estate and trust administration matters involving high-net-worth individuals families fiduciaries and private clients. This role is ideal for a seasoned estates paralegal who values complex administration work direct client interaction and long-term professional stability within a supportive firm environment. This position offers a competitive base salary of $90,500–$150,000 plus comprehensive benefits.


Responsibilities

  • Handle all phases of estate and trust administration matters from inception through closing including probate and surrogate court filings in New Jersey and New York and preparation of federal and state estate tax returns fiduciary income tax returns and fiduciary accountings with accuracy and efficiency
  • Coordinate estate asset collection valuation distribution and trust funding activities while preparing and organizing estate administration documentation and related legal filings
  • Communicate directly with clients beneficiaries financial advisors accountants and fiduciaries while maintaining detailed records and managing multiple deadlines across active matters
  • Assist attorneys with estate planning administration and trust-related projects while utilizing estate administration and tax software platforms efficiently and accurately


Qualifications

  • College degree and/or paralegal certificate required; JD or paralegal candidates will also be considered
  • 5+ years of trust and estate administration experience with strong knowledge of estate and trust administration processes fiduciary accountings and estate tax matters
  • Strong organizational communication and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-volume environment
  • Proficiency with estate tax software such as ONESOURCE/Fast Tax preferred; experience with HotDocs and Microsoft Word strongly preferred with strong written verbal and mathematical skills
