Role Description The Shop Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Alvin, TX. This position is responsible for performing maintenance and repair on electrical transformers and related equipment, including inspecting, cleaning, testing, and assembling components in a shop environment. The Shop Technician will operate heavy equipment and forklifts safely to move and position transformers and materials, while following all safety procedures and company policies. Day-to-day tasks include troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, completing work orders and documentation, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and communicating with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow. The role supports efficient, high-quality service delivery to customers and contributes to continuous improvement in shop operations.

  • Candidates should possess strong Maintenance & Repair skills for electrical transformers and related equipment.
  • Candidates should possess experience with Heavy Equipment operation in a shop or industrial environment.
  • Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for coordinating with supervisors and team members.
