Job Title: OpenText Web CMS (TeamSite) Developer 
Job Location: Dallas, TX 
Job Type: Contract 

Job Description:  

  • We are looking for a passionate, energetic member of an agile team to play a key role in development projects for American Airlines customer facing applications on AA.com. 

  • You will have an opportunity to work across the product’s layers to deliver features and functionality as part of a highly collaborative, quality-focused team. This candidate must have strong technical skills as well as be a good communicator and have an eye for technical excellence. Individuals who ae able to contribute to all aspects of the development lifecycle as well as being vocal, committed, passionate members of a highly collaborative team will excel. 

  • Build and maintain front-end components and templates in OpenText Web CMS (TeamSite) 

  • Design and streamline CMS workflows, deployments, and integrations 

  • Collaborate with design, SEO, and content teams to deliver scalable, compliant solutions 

  • Develop and enhance features iteratively, improving the overall codebase 

  • Estimate tasks and contribute to agile planning and delivery 

  • Coordinate implementations and validate functionality against specifications 

  • Support production operations and issue resolution 

Minimum Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience 

  1. 1. OpenText Web CMS (TeamSite) Development 
    • Understand suite of products including Open Deploy and LiveSite 
    • Develop and maintain templates, workflows, and enterprise application integrations 

  1. Frontend Frameworks/Libraries: 
    • Angular 15+ for client side and server-side rendering 
    • Experience with micro frontend architecture 
    • Web security 

  1. HTML/CSS: 
    • Understanding of responsive design 
    • Experience with CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS 

  1. JavaScript/Typescript 
    • Experience with Typescript and modern JavaScript features (ES6+).
