Your duties in this career may include helping to configure websites and helping your clients update them with the latest JavaScript distribution. You also work with clients to develop web software and applications that use JavaScript. You may work as part of a larger team, or you may work as a freelance contract worker. Communication is key—many teams rely on platforms like Slack or Jira to keep everyone aligned on priorities and progress. Part-time developers are often assigned well-defined tasks or modules, making it easier to integrate their work with the broader project.
