\n Our client is a leading <\/span><\/span>Government Technology company located in the heart of <\/span><\/span>Dublin City, near Stephens Green. They are headquartered in California. We have a requirement for <\/span><\/span>permanent<\/u><\/i> <\/span><\/span>Java Engineers <\/span>to join their expanding development teams in Dublin.<\/span>

\n The successful candidate will have around 3 years of development experience with <\/span><\/span>Java and Spring framework. <\/span>
\n <\/div>\n
\n As you grow into the position you will exposed to <\/span><\/span>Azure, so cloud experience would be a bonus but not a necessity. Experience with public and private facing APIs.<\/span>

\n Your Responsibilities

  • Join the scrum team that owns development of standalone service adapters, built <\/span>with Java & Spring <\/span>boot as core technologies and deployed to Azure
    <\/li>\n
  • Contribute to full SDLC from ideas and design phase right through to implementation, release and deployment.

  • Participate in the development of the product with the team, through <\/span>Daily Scrum, <\/span>SprintPlanningand <\/span>Backlog Grooming
    <\/li>\n
  • Perform Code Reviews,write unit tests,write documentationand implement software best practices
    <\/li>\n
  • Collaboratewith QA engineers to develop testing protocols to identify and correct defects
    <\/li>\n
  • Build and to maintain excellent working relationships with peers across organizations (QA, Development, PM, UX, etc.)
    <\/li>\n
  • You will contribute to the full <\/span>SDLC <\/span>from ideas and design phase right through to implementation, release and deployment.

    \n Your Technical Experience and Education

    • 2+ years minimum of development experience as a Java software engineer
      <\/li>\n
    • JAVA 1.7 & higher. Significant and demonstrable experience of implementing Java best practice, valuing scalability, availability and performance.
      <\/li>\n
    • Spring\/Spring boot
      <\/li>\n
    • ReST and\/or SOAP Web Services - public and private facing <\/span>APIs
      <\/li>\n
    • Knowledge of build systems and software integration systems
      <\/li>\n
    • Experience with <\/span>Java Unit Testing Frameworks <\/span>and Tools such as JUnit, TestNG, Mockito etc.
      <\/li>\n
    • Experience working in continuous integration and continuous deployment systems (CICD)
      <\/li>\n
    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
