As part of this team, you will be undertaking a large-scale migration from on-premise data infrastructure - including Teradata and legacy tooling - to a modern, cloud-first data platform built on Databricks and Snowflake. As part of this engagement, consultants will embed directly with the client's engineering team, contributing hands-on to the migration, modernization, and optimization of enterprise-scale backend and data processing systems.
Information Security Responsibilities
  • Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
  • Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
  • Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
  • Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain Java-based backend and data processing components
  • Support migration of legacy ETL pipelines to cloud-native architecture
  • Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and services
  • Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams on modernization initiatives
  • Integrate modern cloud data technologies into the platform ecosystem
