Job description

Title:                Sr. UAT Analyst (Automation)

Duties:             The Sr. UAT Analyst (Automation) will shape UAT processes in line with industry standard practices and use technical tools to write and manage automation code (eg Java/ Selenium, ATG, ADA tools, A/B testing tool, site monitoring tools, UI validation tools, Cucumber, Jenkins, Appium). You will also  collaborate with agile teams including product management, IT, and user experience team to ensure that the business, product and customer requirements are addressed by test strategies, scripts, data models and plans. You will review UAT analyst and vendor automated test cases, ensuring sufficient coverage of the customer journey and related data / user interface scenarios as well as provide direction to UAT vendors on regression, new features, exploratory and automation UAT testing. This Sr. UAT Analyst will act as an intermediary between product team needs and possible technology solutions by providing insights and direction to agile team based on testing results and root cause analysis; and develop test automation strategies, improve automation quality and increase the % of automated UAT test cases. You will assist in increasing exploratory testing on strategic enhancements and defect follow up; contribute to the creation of a framework, improving existing architecture and evaluation possible solutions including CGP migration and/or DevOps solutions; and perform User Acceptance automated script writing and execute for AutoZone's Digital properties.

Requirements:  Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Communications and Electronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related and 5 years of mobile and web application automation testing experience, including:

  • Quality assurance/ UAT experience in a web development and application software development environment

  • Functional automation skills using Selenium with Java, TestNG, Cucumber, Appium, AppliTools, Git Lab, & Maven

  • Leading 2-3 medium to large UAT efforts simultaneously

  • Test management software including QC, ALM, JIRA, Zephyr, and Agility

  • eCommerce focused mobile/web application automation testing
