Job Title: QA Lead – Java & Selenium

Locations: Fort Mill, SC / Washington, DC (Hybrid/Onsite as per project needs)

Duration: 12+ months

Job Summary:

Incedo is seeking an experienced QA Lead with strong expertise in Java, Selenium, and test automation frameworks to lead quality assurance efforts across enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will drive test strategy, mentor QA teams, and ensure delivery of high-quality software in Agile environments.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end QA strategy, planning, and execution for multiple applications.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Java and Selenium.
  • Review functional, regression, integration, and performance test cases.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure adherence to SDLC, QA best practices, and compliance standards.
  • Perform root cause analysis of defects and drive resolution.
  • Mentor and guide junior QA engineers and offshore teams.
  • Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or similar tools).
  • Provide QA status reports, metrics, and quality dashboards to leadership.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 2+ years in a QA Lead role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java and Selenium WebDriver.
  • Experience with TestNG / JUnit, Maven/Gradle.
  • Solid understanding of Automation Frameworks (Hybrid, Data-driven, BDD).
  • Experience testing RESTful APIs (Postman, Rest Assured).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
