D365 Functional Lead - SCM (F&O)
Role Overview
We are seeking a 15+ years experienced Supply Chain Management (SCM) Functional Lead to drive the successful implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O). This role is responsible for designing, configuring, and delivering end-to-end supply chain processes, ensuring seamless integration with finance and other business functions. Acting as the client-facing counterpart, the SCM Lead will provide expert solutions and guide teams through complex ERP implementations.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced SCM Functional Lead - D365 Finance & Operations to drive end-to-end supply chain implementations. This role will oversee critical modules including Procurement & Sourcing, Inventory Management, Advanced Warehouse Management (WMS), Sales & Order Management, Master Planning (MRP), and Production Control. Responsibilities include conducting workshops with supply chain leaders and operations teams; documenting business process flows and functional designs and mapping real-world processes to D365 capabilities with a focus on configuration over customization. The SCM Lead will also manage functional consultants, coordinate with technical and finance teams, and ensure deliverables such as BRDs, FDDs, and test scripts meet project standards.
The role requires strong expertise in supply chain fundamentals, procurement lifecycles, inventory and warehousing concepts, demand planning, and manufacturing processes. Hands-on experience with D365 SCM modules, including Inventory & Warehouse setup, Master Planning, Procurement & Sourcing, Production Control, and Advanced Warehouse Management is essential. Proficiency in tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Visio/BPM, and advanced Excel for data validation and migration is expected, along with familiarity in Leapwork for automation testing. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills are critical to succeeding in this client-facing role.

15+ years in ERP/SCM implementations.
10+ years of hands-on experience with D365 F&O SCM modules.
Proven track record in client-facing SCM solution delivery.
