Job description

Senior Java Engineer – 12+ Years

Location: Columbus,OH
Duration : Long Term Contract

· End-to-end ownership in highly regulated enterprise environments such as Banking or Financial Services is strongly preferred.

· Develop scalable frontend applications and robust backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS services.

· Design, develop, and maintain high-performing backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and RESTful APIs.

· Own the complete software delivery lifecycle including requirement analysis, development, unit testing, peer reviews, integration testing, UAT support, deployment, and production support.

· Develop secure, scalable, and resilient applications while following enterprise engineering standards and best practices.

· Collaborate with Architects, Product Owners, QA, DevOps, and business teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

· Work with relational and NoSQL databases, messaging technologies, caching solutions, and cloud platforms such as AWS.

· Participate in architecture reviews, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and continuous platform modernization initiatives.

· Lead code reviews, mentor development teams, and drive engineering excellence across Agile delivery squads.

· Analyze production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable long-term solutions.
