About the Program
We're launching our 2026 Engineering Internship Program, a fast-paced, high-impact opportunity designed for aspiring engineers who want to build real products, ship meaningful features, and accelerate their path into a full-time role. Over the course of 12 weeks, you'll work closely with experienced engineers, gain hands-on mentorship, contribute directly to production systems, and help solve real challenges across NewsBreak's ecosystem. This is a paid, on-site internship based in our Mountain View headquarters. Top-performing interns will be considered for full-time offers at the conclusion of the program.

Foundational Requirements:
  • Currently in the final semester of a Master's or PhD program in Computer Science (or a closely related field), or recently graduated from a top-tier university.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++, Go).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Coursework, academic research, or hands-on projects in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, NLP, Recommendation Systems, or Large Language Models
  • Experience using ML frameworks and tools (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn)
  • Familiarity with data pipelines, model training, or evaluating ML models
  • Prior internships or project experience involving ML-powered features, AI agents, or AIGC systems

Hourly Pay for internship: $40-$50
The US base salary range for this full-time position is listed below. Pay may vary based on a number of factors including job-related skills, level, experience, geographic location and relevant education or training. At NewsBreak, we design our overall rewards package to attract top talents. Depending on the position, the role may also be eligible for discretionary bonus and options.
