Job Description

Position Title : Java Developer

Work Location : McLean, VA

Job Type : Permanent / Contract (W2 or 1099)

Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Assists in architecture, performance engineering, product evaluation and support.
  • Translates business requirements into application and database design.
  • Develop and test RESTful APIs and Java Code.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of strong Java development experience within an enterprise environment.
  • Hands on working experience with Java, J2EE, Spring framework
  • Hands on experience in deploying application in Linux / JBOSS / GIT environment
  • Experience with MongoDB is a plus.
  • Solid communication skills required.
