Position Overview 

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Java Developer to support the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-level and government systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong Java expertise along with experience in complementary technologies within a structured, compliance-driven environment. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java-based applications supporting government and enterprise systems  
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, and system administrators to deliver high-quality solutions  
  • Develop and integrate APIs to support interoperability and secure data exchange  
  • Contribute to system architecture, technical design, and documentation efforts  
  • Ensure application performance, security, and reliability through adherence to best practices  
  • Support application deployment through CI/CD pipelines and automation tools  
  • Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve system defects and production issues  
  • Ensure compliance with government standards, policies, and security requirements  

Required Qualifications 

  • Secret clearance, TS eligibility 
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field  
  • 5 yrs of experience in Java development with strong proficiency in Java (JDK 8 or higher)  
  • Core understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles  
  • Experience with:  
  • Java Collections Framework  
  • Multithreading and concurrency  
  • Exception handling best practices  
  • Hands-on experience with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks  
  • Experience with Hibernate/JPA for database interactions  
  • Familiarity with API integrations (RESTful and web services)  
  • Hands-on experience with Eclipse IDE  
  • Familiarity with IntelliTrack Entellitrak platform  
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes  
  • Experience supporting enterprise-level or government systems  
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft technology stack, including:  
  • .NET framework  
  • C#, Visual Basic (VB)  
  • Experience with SQL Server 2017 (or newer) and T-SQL  

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience with reporting and UI tools such as Jaspersoft Studio and DevExpress  
  • Familiarity with hybrid technology environments integrating Java and .NET solutions  
  • Experience working in Agile or hybrid development environments  
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices and government compliance standards (e.g., NIST, FISMA)  
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git  
  • Experience with relational databases and data modeling
