Web Application Developer
The Opportunity:
Maintain responsibility for designing, testing, and developing well designed web-based software coding that is testable, and efficient by using best software development practices to meet user's needs. Recommend software upgrades for current and future systems, as well as translating the User Interface (UI)/User Experience (UX) design wireframes. Ensure software continues to function normally through software maintenance and testing, and document every aspect of the application, service or environment as a reference for future maintenance and upgrades.
You Have:
  • 8+ years of experience in developer or software roles
  • 2+ years of experience in AWS Cloud Based Solutions, Java, C#, or Python
  • Experience with VMWare, including v9.x and virtualized infrastructure design and configuration
  • Experience with scripting for configuration automation, including Python, Bash, or Perl
  • Experience with containerization, including Kubernetes
  • Top Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with delivering, supporting, and marketing the design components of communications strategies to the federal government

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
