Position Summary
The Division of Information Technology invites applications for Adjunct Instructors to teach undergraduate courses in Software Development Engineering. We are seeking dynamic, student-centered instructors with professional experience or academic preparation in one or more of the following areas:
• Event Driven Programming (C#)
• Machine Learning (Python and related tools)
• Game development (Unity)
• Data Structures and Algorithms (Java)
• Software Capstone Project (Agile methodologies)
• Introductory Programming
Duties and Responsibilities
• Deliver course content in in-person or online (Zoom) formats
• Incorporate current technologies and industry practices into teaching.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and professional learning environment.
• Provide timely feedback and academic support to students.
• Update instructional materials, assignments, and assessments in the college's learning management system.
• Report attendance and grade records in accordance with institutional policy.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
• Bachelor's Degree in computer science or a related field
Experience
• Professional experience in software development
• Prior teaching experience preferred.
