Estrada Consulting,Inc is looking for-
Role: Java Angular / J2EE Consultant with Crime Systems Experience (Ref: 5730)
Location: Remote Pacific Time Zone and must reside in the continental US.
Duration: 3-years
Rate: $65 C2C or $60 W2
Must have Federal Bureau of Investigation systems or CA CLETS systems experience. Similar experience which will be considered are other state CRIME Systems across the US.
Required Qualifications / Minimum Qualifications:
Education
Must meet the minimum education by holding a Bachelor degree in related field. Degree PDF copy is mandatory.
References: Candidates will be required to provide two (2) references for project work performed within the past 7-years, and reference contact MUST sign a reference form.
Experience
Must have at least 7-years experience working in Information Technology in systems programming, systems analysis, design, implementation.
Java / Angular experience:
Minimum five (5) years of experience during the last seven (7) years using advanced Angular and Java programming skills to perform systems design, development, testing, implementation, and troubleshooting activities in support of Angular/Java applications. Six years during the last seven years is preferred.
PL/SQL Development
Minimum five (5) years of experience during the last seven years developing applications using PL/SQL procedures, functions, and packages using PL/SQL Developer, SQL Developer, TOAD, or a similar tool. Six years during the last seven years is preferred.
Software Development Life Cycle
Minimum one year of experience during the last seven years performing activities within the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, troubleshooting, technical documentation, and application architecting. Two years during the last seven years is preferred.
Oracle RDBMS
Minimum three years of experience within the last seven years managing processes, memory, and users; monitoring operations; and diagnosing and resolving problems utilizing Oracle RDBMS, including version 12c or later. Four years within the last seven years is preferred.
Technical Documentation
Minimum two years of experience within the last five years writing technical documentation such as sequence diagrams and system design documentation. Three years within the last five years is preferred.
Legacy Application Migration
Minimum two years of experience within the last five years migrating a legacy application to newer supported technology. Three years within the last five years is preferred.
Visual Basic 6 or Similar Legacy Technology
Minimum two years of experience during the last ten years utilizing Visual Basic 6 (VB6) or similar technology for application development, including user interface design, coding, scripting for database interaction, debugging and testing, integration, maintenance and updates, documentation, and experience migrating a VB6 application to newer supported technology. Three years during the last ten years is preferred.
J2EE / Java Web Application Development
Minimum five years of experience during the last ten years developing applications utilizing each of the following technologies:
Java Server Pages, Servlets, and Java Beans
Java frameworks to implement common J2EE design patterns, including Model-View-Controller and others as needed
Web Services, XML, and XML-based messaging protocols and technologies, such as SOAP, WSDL, UDDI, and Web Services
Six years during the last ten years is preferred.
Requirements Elicitation / JAD
Minimum two years of experience during the last ten years conducting formal requirements elicitation, including client interviews for requirements gathering and Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions. Three years during the last ten years is preferred.
FBI / CLETS / Similar Technical Interfaces
Minimum two years of experience during the last seven years supporting technical interfaces with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and California Law Enforcement Telecommunications System (CLETS), or similar technical interfaces. If experience is with a similar interface, the candidate must be able to describe the system and services provided. Three years during the last seven years is preferred.
Java Application Server Administration / JBoss
Minimum one year of experience during the last five years utilizing Java Application Server administration and configuration, such as JBoss, including installing and configuring JBoss servers on various operating systems; adjusting server settings; deploying WAR files; monitoring server resources; managing security; logging and troubleshooting; clustering and load balancing; integrating; performing backup and recovery; and documenting processes. Two years during the last five years is preferred.
Knowledge Transfer / Training
Minimum two years of experience within the last five years conducting formal knowledge transfer and/or training sessions to client staff to enable client staff to support and maintain Java applications. Three years within the last five years is preferred.
