An is an independent governmental entity, located in Pasadena, CA is seeking (2) Java Developers for 12+ month contract roles.
Requirements
* Proficiency in Java: Strong knowledge of the Java programming language, with hands-on experience in core Java 8-17+ features including lambda expressions, stream API, Optional API etc. for writing cleaner, null-safe code.
* Deep experience with Spring Boot for building RESTful APIs, microservices, and enterprise applications including DI, AOP, and Bean lifecycle management. Hands-on experience with Spring Web, Spring Data JPA, and writing custom queries.
* Microservices Architecture: Familiarity with microservices architecture and best practices.
* Batch Processing: Understanding and experience with batch processing frameworks and tools.
* Agile Methodology: Experience working in Agile development environments.
* Waterfall Methodology: Understanding of Waterfall methodology and its application in software development.
* Build and Deploy environment: Proficiency with Git and Gradle. Azure DevOps optional.
* Development Environment: Expertise on Eclipse/IntelliJ/VS Code. Strong experience with GitHub Copilot using Claude or other LLMs.
